Christmas Finally Got Here

Bunny here at the keyboard, finally, getting to share a little about our Christmas.

Mom and Dad were really busy this month, and Christmas Eve there were gone for about forever and Dad came home with gloves that smelled absolutely fascinating.  We were hoping that meant we were getting something really interesting on Christmas morning, but nothing that smelled like those gloves appeared.  We did notice Christmas morning that our stockings were looking different than they had the night before.

It turns out that we were good hounds this year -- even Lilac.  That was a huge relief!  We all had good stuff in our stockings.  I even got a tiny hedgeamahog, because Morgan ate my Christmas one from last year.  We got to spend some time with Mom and Dad in the morning and they didn't even get home too late that night.


I think Christmas ought to come around more often than once a year.  Everybody seems to feel generous and happy.  Plus, lots of things go on sale!  I think we could all use a little more Christmas throughout the year.

    Those stockings are adorable! So glad that they were filled with treats.

    Bunny Dear, I read about the smell on your dads gloves, you would have enjoyed the treat he could have brought you.

    You should sit down and have a little chat with him.

    Your stockings are pawsome!! We so happy that even Lilac got somethings because she didn't sound like she would have made it on the Nice list...maybe Santa Paws has a heart for "Maxines" like Ms. Lilac...thesa good at heart even if they blunt to your face'ums.

    I am so glad that Lilac got presents from Santa.
    Your stockings were the proof that you were all good hounds and a good shepherd.
    Oh, I also agree that we should have Christmas more often than once a year. I love the generosity and kindness of everyone and the visitors who came to hug and play with me ~ Eva

    Love those stockings!! Did you make them? Those are just too cool!! We agree about more Christmas, but I think when you have dogs it is like Christmas 24/7! Don't need a special day for that.

    I love your stockings! They're so funny and perfect. I knew that you'd all been good girls so you'd get good santy paws presents!

    It looks like our hectic time is continuing... the darn east coast airport has no flights until the end of the week... But, I agree - it's way better for my dad to be stuck here than in a strange place.

    (I have to wonder - did the gloves smell like fish on Christmas Eve? We cook 3 or 4 kinds of fish on that day!)

    Love the stockings! I am glad you all had such a good time, even if it was fleeting. I am sure your parents will be making up for their absences as soon as possible. They don't like to be away too long either I know.
