Tongue Twister

Wow!  We sure do let it all hang out, or curl around, sometimes!  Sheesh!  How embarrassing.  Still, if it gets us Yoghund, it's worth it.

A Small Request

Bunny here, asking a tiny request of our friends who might happen to be on Facebook. 

I'm entered in a contest by Voyager's K9 Apparel where you have to just go in and click on "like" if you like the picture of the hound in their raincoat.  I really want to win.  I suppose it's my competitive greyhound nature.  There are several dogs entered, most of them greyhounds, but if you wouldn't mind voting that you like me, it'd be very much appreciated!  All you need to do is click on the picture of the dog you like best and then hit like.  It will only work if you're on Facebook, though!  First, you have to click that you like Voyager's, though, so you can vote.

Also, if you're on Facebook, I'd love to be friends.  I know it's not for everybody, but I have fun with it!  There's a lot to keep up with there.

We'd also like to send our well wishes and prayers to Digby's family right now.  He's very sick with a tick disease and really fighting to survive.

Hello everyone!  Bunny here with some exciting news!  It seems that I have been chosen as the best hound in the hound group for the esteemed Mango Minster event.  This was my first year competing, so I didn't know what to expect.  Martha and Bailey were the judges and they felt that I was top dog for the hounds.  I'm glad I wasn't a judge, since I thought all the hounds entered were magnifcent. 

Now I'm supposed to leave a not for Miss Asta, the Best In Show Judge.  I think I'm supposed to tell her a bit about myself.  That or I'm supposed to amuse her with my charm and wit!  I was bred to be a racing dog, but I was too smart for that and instead raced straight for the couch without passing go or collecting two hundred dollars.  I am working towards a career as a therapy dog instead.  My big outings are usually trips to the nursing home to visit or to the dog bakery.  I'm working on getting Mom back in shape now that the weather is breaking, too. 

I'll keep my paws crossed that Miss Asta likes me, but I'm a newcomer to the event, so I'll just be happy for the chance to learn about how the contest operates.  I'm proud to represent the hound group and very happy that a lot of hounds are working together towards a good cause! 

A Saturday Challenge

Recently, we were lucky enough to be the 10,000th visitor on Hope and Greyz.  Our prize for being the lucky visitor was that she would do some artwork from a photo we sent her of one of our greyhounds.  We sent her several to choose from and I have to say that the final result is really beautiful!

She is thinking about making some notecards of some sort with the final result and she is asking people to submit witty captions to go along with it.  You might even win some notecards if yours is the winner!  So, put your thinking caps on and see what you can come up with.
