We've Been Invaded

Bunny here, reporting a tale to you that you may or may not believe.  Over Christmas, Dad's niece really wanted a certain toy.  Nobody had them anywhere.  Dad went out early one morning, just before Christmas, to get breakfast for the people who work in his office (Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and do you think he brought me one?  No!  He did not!) and he ran into Wal-Mart.  To his surprise, the lady at the front of the store told him that if he was there looking for the toys his niece wanted, they were in the back.  Well, now he was curious and he knew her mom didn't get her one.  So, he found them in the back.  They told him there was a limit of two, so he got two and brought one home for Mom.  Why he thought she needed one, I don't know, but people are strange creatures.

Anyroo, I forgot about it because the box didn't look that exciting to me.  I was walking through the kitchen, minding my own business, when I was startled by a fearsome creature.  I didn't know what to do!

Alerted by the commotion in the kitchen, Lilac came in to see what was going on.  She may be old, but she is pretty spry and crafty!  She made off with that thing before I could even shout "Look!  A Milkbone!"

Blueberry was completely unfazed by the whole experience.  See if I come to her aid if she's ever in distress or attacked by a rodent!

I couldn't believe that there was a wild animal  IN OUR HOUSE and neither Mom or Dad was concerned!  I knew I had to investigate and do my duty to protect our home and this nation from that marauding maniac.  Lilac was not as helpful as I'd hoped, since she seemed to forget that it was dangerous as soon as she got to the dog bed with it.

Finally, I leapt into action and got the little furball under control!  Then I understood what they thought was so funny.  I was duped by a mechanical hamster!  I will get him, though, mark my words!  That hamster hasn't seen the last of me!
