My job today was to be a model. The kids in class wanted to draw pictures of me. They call it observation drawing. I was quite impressed by their artistic talent. They had to look at me a lot. My eyes, ears, nose, tail, legs and tummy were all inspected. They asked a lot of questions about my tattoos. I had to stand up and turn around for a long time. Finally, I was exhausted and had to take a break. The kids were very understanding, and one of them even gave me a little massage.
Blueberry was supposed to model with me, but someone *cough, Dad, cough* fell asleep again on the couch this morning and by the time she arrived, the drawing was done. She still got to visit the kids some, though. I think they liked me better, but maybe that's just because I'm smaller. She was busy checking out the classroom some, so she didn't socialize as much as I did, either. I can't say that I mind being in the spotlight, though! Maybe Blueberry will get her turn another time.
I bet woo were khwite the pupular visitor!

I can't even imagine if the kids would have had to split their time between you AND Blueberry. It is probably best she came late! :p
ReplyDeleteBunny, you outdone yourself, hun! Glad that Blueberry finally showed up, but sorry she missed the drawing. *cough thanks dad cough*
ReplyDeleteYou're a more natural model anyway, Bunny. It's just pure natural talent -- but yeah, you do deserve some payment for all the inspiration you provided...like maybe an extra treat. :)
I'm impressed. It takes a lot of patience to be a model. I'm glad that someone gave you a massage afterwards... tough work deserves a massage.

ReplyDeleteTell Bunny that Sid will be visiting soon too, because he'll soon be a PAT dog! We don't know what kind of placement we'll get yet, but I'm sure he'd love schoolchildren. Let's face it, he loves everyone!

Most interesting impressions of your flat self those kids drew. I think you will need to visit school more often so that they can practice.
