Walking Along, Singing A Song, Side By Side

One good thing about having our houseguests last week was that it finally motivated us to do a couple of things.  The first thing was that it got us all going for walks together again.  Mr. Taleteller and I used to walk Treat and Blueberry together, but we'd gotten out of the habit.  Our winter here was particularly brutal and many days we couldn't walk any further than the turn out pen, even if we wanted to.  Having Action Jackson here required a change in our routine, though, and I feel that it's been for the better.  He needed to get out for some exercise every day and he is a dream dog to take for walks.  Emma was, too, and Bunny has gotten to be a wonderful walking companion as well.  Blueberry even kept up with us better.  I guess peer pressure kept her motivated.  She didn't want to be left behind.

It's been a pleasant change going for walks together, though, instead of by myself.  It's a time to talk and catch up and destress from life.  It's theraputic and good for us to get moving after the wicked winter we've weathered.  It's also fun to see the girls looking for signs of Spring.

The second thing we got out of it was that Bunny finally got a coat that was made just for her.  We had coats here that Treat used to wear that were beautiful, but a little big for Bunny.  We liked Emma and Jackson's coats so much that we ordered one for Bunny, so she now sports her very own brand new coat.  Of course, now that we have it, the weather finally decided to take a turn towards Spring, but she'll have it for a long time!
