As much as she can get! My mom is always very much surprised how both me and Brudder Ranger can double in height when laying on the couch or in the bed.
My little dogs seem like snugglers...... until we all get in bed and they stretch out, pushing me way over to one side. Now I can't sleep without the warmth of a little body next to me.
Hate to tell you this, but this is not enough space, if you could put the back and arms of the couch down flat 'THEN' it might be enough. ;) How inconvinent to have to shape the body in order to fit the spot! Have a greyt Memorial Day weekend, in a few hours, I am 'outta' here'! (hounds and all) :)
I love how Bluberry and her collar match the colors in the couch perfectly! NOW, as to the "How much room does a greyhound need?" question . . . . isn't there a "law" of greyhound physics something along the lines of "the amount of room a greyhound needs to rest comfortably correlates directly to the size of the available couch (or bed)"?
Greyhounds have an amazing ability to expand to fill all available space. I've seen it with my own eyes. So the answer to your queation is "as much as you can give them"!!!
I'm a girl living in the midwest with my husband and three greyhounds. Sometimes I share writing privileges with Bunny, the youngest of the hounds, as we write about the adventures, or misadventures, of our daily life.
I think the formula is: body mass x circumference squared. ;)
ReplyDeleteMarge does this, too. There can never be too much room - Blueberry has the right idea!
ReplyDeleteThe couch is mine - all mine!
ReplyDeleteLet's start with the whole house .
ReplyDeleteApparantly at least a couch length!
ReplyDeleteFirst thing we did was get a new L-couch so there would be room for humans.
ReplyDeleteBella needs at LEAST half of our queen size bed, thank you very much. She'll deign to share the sofa with us as long as she gets about half.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is about as much as a basset - short but very long!

ReplyDeleteA greyhound needs as much room as a greyhound wants☺
ReplyDeleteObviously, you need one couch per greyhound! :)

ReplyDeleteThe Couch is for the dogs, the humans can sit on the floor:)
ReplyDeleteBOL! Aren't we good at tripling in size when there's a cozy couch or bed available?
ReplyDeleteWags,
Zona
If that couch were larger, you'd take all that space too! HAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Kisses!
The Fiesty Three
Is this a "how much wood would a woodchuck chuck?" sort of question?
ReplyDeleteI have a dog (not a greyhound) that has pronounce my queen sized bed as her own. I get a sliver of one side. I don't really mind...much.
ReplyDeleteUmmmmm...how big is your house, she will take that too.
ReplyDeletePuddles
As much as she wants???
ReplyDeleteThat is our motto!

ReplyDeleteOur best dog buddy is a greyhound named Jack, and his owner was telling me just the other day how much Jack loves to sleep with his feet up!
It's been said before, and undoubtedly true: it's as much as she can get!
