How I Spent My Birthday

I have to say, I really had a wonderful weekend.  I spent most of it celebrating my birthday in different ways.  Saturday I ate lunch with my dad, stepmom and sister.  That night we went out for pasta with my mom, stepdad and my sister.  Sunday I got to relax and spend time with Mr. Taleteller and the girls.  We spent the day together doing some of my favorite things.  We went out to lunch with my sister, visited the dog park and went to the garden shop to get some flowers to plant.

I got some nice presents.  One of them was a book about how to make fancy cupcakes called Hello Cupcake from Mr. Taleteller and the girls.  Some of the cupcakes in the book are the cutest dog faces I've ever seen!  I have a strong urge to make cupcakes now.

Today I will celebrate at school with the kids in my class.  You can't be in PreK and not have a birthday party.  It's simply unheard of!  I'll also get to go to Chicago on Friday with Mr. Taleteller to continue the celebrating.  I feel really fortunate to have all the things I really want and love in my life.  Everyone I care about was with me at some point and I am reminded by how rich I really am!
