Dashing for sure and where the heck is this wonderful bridge at. You are so lucky to do all this exploring, can we move in with you guys. Sniffs, The HoundDogs
hey we got our tummy warmer! Loki LOVES it. seriously. so i may now get the rain coat for wet days too... it rained the other day and he refused go go walking while the husky went. but it was coming down pretty hard, so i can't blame him. he soaks through while Juno repels it.
meanwhile, i read yesterday's post about Blue and how to keep aging dogs engaged, i have nothing too valuable. just that you go with what they can do. if they are enthusiastic, i error on the side of including them, rather than leaving them home, unless it's completely really bad for an illness. if it's "just age" you're working against, and not something more major (do you know if the cancer is gone or is it wait and see?) then i would do more including. if it's wait and see, then i don't see how keeping her at home will make it better or keep it at bay. i mean cancer's cancer. no amount of rest will make that go away only intervention of some kind. that's the kind of thing that kept my maggie (who had liver cancer and only 6 months but lived 3.5 quality years) going is truly living to her ability. believe me, when they know they can't do something, they won't. i watched juno go from a runniing jumping dog last year to a dog who avoids too much running with Loki now. the gold beads seeem to have helped the pain a lot and she's jumping ON HER OWN (not encouraged by me). what am i gonna do "juno don't jump cuz it will make you worse?" like she'd still do it anyway. i think they know what they are capable of.
i donno... i say keep including her if she wants it. it's good for the soul.
In that picture, it looks like Bunny to me, am I wrong?? Neat bridge, beautiful picture!! Thanks for your visit and the healing wishes!! I am still a little sore but feeling better. For me it is just part of life. xx,Bambi & Fern

I'm a girl living in the midwest with my husband and three greyhounds. Sometimes I share writing privileges with Bunny, the youngest of the hounds, as we write about the adventures, or misadventures, of our daily life.
Miss Blueberry, you're bluetiful. :o)))
