Bunny here at the keyboard, recording our resolutions for this year.
We debated about doing resolutions, but in the end, decided that we'd give it a shot. It's a fun time to reflect on what you want to do with your life, and we all have dreams. So, I convinced my sisters to let me share their resolutions with you and I added mine, too!
Blueberry says she resolves to be even more perfect and to worry Mom and Dad less this year. (insert rolling eyeballs) She says she's going to focus on her health and keeping in shape so she can keep up with me and Morgan on our outings.
Morgan resolves not to break any more windows. She says that she makes no resolutions about not breaking toys or unstuffing stuffies. There are limits to what she can withstand. She is also going to try to loosen up a little. (Ha!)
Lilac says, ahem, that she's "damned near perfect" and doesn't need to make any resolutions. I tried to convince her, but it was a no go. She did say that she's planning on seizing life with both paws and making the most of it, though.
I resolve to be the best me I can be this year. I'm going to try my hardest to keep Mom and Dad in shape by getting them out on those hiking trails more this year. I'm also going to work on challenging myself to try more new things and meeting more people so they can have the opportunity to pet me.
So, there you have our New Year's resolutions. We'd like to wish all of you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2011! What are your resolutions for this year?

Hi! We just started our own blog and we're going around trying to meet other bloggy pets. Our mama wants you to know that she loves greyhounds, and has always meant to rescue one someday, but we kinda rescued her first and now she's got more pets than space! Someday though we'll add a greyhound to our furry family! We like your New Years resolutions. Especially the one about not breaking any more wwindws!

ReplyDeleteNew Year's Resolutions... Hmmm. OK. I going to try being less aggressive with my hot lady vet and her posse, and to stop scaring the nice cleaning lady. Or at least take it down a notch.
Happy New Year!

Those are some nice resolutions. And since you all have such svelte figures, you don't have to resolve to diet like nearly everyone else this time of year.
ReplyDeleteMy only resolution is to make no resolutions. Hopefully I'll be able to keep that one!

I also wanted to thank you for all of your kind thoughts about the loss of our Macy. It means a lot. I have never met you, yet through our blogs I feel like I know you. If we ever did meet, I think it would be like sharing stories and chatting with someone I have known for years. Weird, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteBunny, I like your resolution best (aside from Blueberry's goals about her health!) - thinking about hiking is a GREAT way to start the New Year. :)

With joy, health, many adventures and much love!
Wow, I did not know us dogs could do this! We all heard the people make these resolutions as we were under the table while they were eating. This is the best place to be when people are having food. They drop little pieces and some even put their hands down with big pieces for us dogs. I think my resolution will be to find the person who gives out the most treats!!
ReplyDeleteAll those are very good resolutions!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
