You may have noticed that certain hounds here at our house were rather unfairly neglected on Friday and Saturday while a couple of humans who call themselves "Mom" and "Dad" were off attending all sorts of family Christmas get togethers. It turns out that no hounds were invited to these festivities. I can't imagine that they had any sort of fun at these get togethers, and Mom assures me that it was truly a torturous experience. After smelling Dad's gloves Friday night, I'm not entirely sure I believe that, but I'm a generous little hound and I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Sunday, however, they redeemed themselves. We had more snow on Christmas and the world was a wash of white. Blueberry and I got all bundled up in our coats and we went with Morgan, Mom and Dad to the dog park to stretch our legs.
It was glorious! There was a Sibe there, along with a Sibe-Golden cross and a small spaniel. They were more than happy to run in the snow with us. We had the best time. I believe our pictures speak for themselves.
We came home tired, happy dogs and took a long Winter's nap. Now if I can just get them motivated to go see that waterfall!
You got us excited to see the waterfall! Maybe we can help you work on them too?! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteMom said I should come over and let you know where she bought my holiday collar. She got it off of Etsy, thru the Hound Haberdashy shop.

ReplyDeleteBlueberry looks distinguished and so very happy!
That looks like a riot of zoomies. Butt I think Khyra will cry and whimper when she sees all the SNOW that YOU have and she can't even get one skimpy little inch. Poor girrrrl.
ReplyDeleteBunny, you all look soooooo happy!
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine your mom and dad having any fun without you and your siblings either, Bunny! It is a good thing they redeemed themselves by taking you to the dog park! I am sure your parents had more fun at the park than at a party!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! Love the one with Bunny out in front. It is easy to forget just how fast they are compared to their other k9 cousins. Looks like you all had lots of fun!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had so much fun! We think you live near where we live, and so we have one question to ask. What HAPPENED to all that snow???
ReplyDeleteNow I don't blame you for not being happy about being left behind. But it looks like your mom and dad made it up to you. There sure were a lotta smiling faces in those pictures!

ReplyDeleteWish we still had snow, but it all melted away :(
Love the pictures!
Rudy
I'm sure your mom and dad missed you girls on their Christmas outings, and I'm also certain those outings would have been more lively, were you invited. At least you got a nice trip to the park for snow zoomies! It appears you had a blast!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys look so exciting to have the mmmas and the poppas home with you. You look like 3 happee kids
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Wonderful fun - how we wish we were the sibes there with you. We got lucky in that all the holiday events were here at our house, so we got to attend all, but we sure were happy when the end came - we were exhausted.
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
It looks like you all had a grand time at the dog park! That's a very nice picture of you with your mom, Bunny. =)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you all!
You could not go with them but you had lots of fun the next day!
ReplyDeleteI can see how much you enjoyed it!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
I like how your family really does make time for each of the pooches. And I still love her pink coat.
ReplyDeleteOk, ok, the hu-dad is claiming something about being buried at work and just not catching up on blogs (which he can do because he was outside playing in the snow with us and got cold - which we thought was a good thing). Anyway - see you had snow and a Sibe - nothing could be finer.
