Friday night it started snowing and we were supposed to get just two or three inches. Saturday morning we woke up and found out that we got a lot more snow than that. It was so pretty as the flakes floated down out of the sky. Mom and Dad had a talk and then they got me and Morgan into the van. We headed off for the dog park. Blueberry and Lilac do not like to get their feet wet or cold, so they stayed home.
We got to the dog park to find out that we had it all to ourselves. Morgan and I were thrilled. We set out to make good use of our time in the snow. We thought a lot about our Siberian friends who have been missing the snow and wished we could share it with them.
Morgan gave her jingle bells a test run, and I have to say, they sounded great! All you could hear was the birds, the squirrels scolding us from the trees and Morgan's bells. We were really able to fly out there!
It was great to play in the snow, and Morgan and I really had an exciting time. Hopefully everybody else had as much fun this weekend as we did. It wasn't hiking, but it sure was fun!
I paw woo

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful snow, we would love to play in the snow, but it doesn't snow where we live. Morgan's jingle bells are soooo cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blast you guys had! We are so jealous. We had snow, but now it is gone and cold. Keep sending us your snowy thoughts we need them!
ReplyDeleteBy heck, Bunny sure get's close to those trees:) Fab video and I love the bells.
ReplyDeleteKeep safe and warm.
hiking is great, but a crazy day in the first snow beats everything, even hiking.
ReplyDeleteLove the Snow Bunny and Jingle Bell! Bunny, you're definitely a great runner, I can't believe my eyes when you zoomed around!
ReplyDeleteIt seems everybody is having snow fun these days.
Good gracious...everybuddy is gettin' snow but ME! Course, I can't really run in it like ya'll do...you make it look so easy.
ReplyDeleteHehehe...loves da video.
Puddles
Pees: I has so missed you girls
Oh Bunny ...
ReplyDeleteI'm really sad ...
Two reasons:
we don't have snow here,
and because I have nobody to keep me company running like crazy, like you!
We loved the bell!
You and Morgan had a great time!
Hope you continue to have fun in the snow and not only!
Kaiser
How pretty! Glad Bunny and Morgan got to have such a good time!
ReplyDeleteI was worried that Honey wasn't too interested in snow. She didn't seem to pay it much attention. Turns out, we didn't have enough for her to bother with.
At the Christmas Tree Farm they had a foot on the ground and that brought out her snow zoomies. Here's hoping for lots more this season!
What a great video! Morgan sure tries hard to keep up with Bunny - poor girl :) Love the bells, and the girls are obviously having so much fun!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you and Morgan had a great time playing in the snow! I love Morgan's jingle bells!
ReplyDeleteWow! That looks like so much fun! I love the second to last picture of Bunny, she looks so excited and happy there!
ReplyDeleteMorgan sounds like she should be pulling a sled with those bells on!
WOW.....YOU ARE SO FAST! Loved the jingle bells! What a fantastic video!!! You had a great time in the white stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat video Bunny!! love to see you and Morgan playing together.
ReplyDeleteFor the last few days we have had flakes non-stop here. The heavy stuff fell Friday - Sat morning and it has been a very light snow and flurries every since then. Think we got about 7 inches or so during the heaviest period.
ReplyDeleteRenner went out for a quick, impromptu romp, sans coat, which he really needed, but I had a camera in my hand at the time so I got a little footage.
Looks like Bunny and Morgan enjoyed themselves.
What a happy pair you are. I love to see you romping in the snow. I didn't know that any greyhounds loved the snow so much. I'm guessing that your super-warm outfit helped a lot. But no boots? I expected boots... to go with your beautiful outfit. And your sis Morgan looks ecstatic!
ReplyDeleteJingle Bells - we have them for our dogs too!
whoa! Bunny you is super super fast!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun! My kids are jealous. We only got a dusting of snow down here.
ReplyDeletewhere did you get your pink coat..Thats awesome!!
ReplyDeleteMan Bunny, you can flat out run!! I hope I never have to race you! Morgan sounded like Santa Claus bringing in the sleigh!!
ReplyDeleteLoved your video. We wish had a dog park that nice rather than our 50 foot x 50 foot park. Morgan, we don't think you are ever going to catch Bunny, but you get points for effort.
ReplyDeleteOMD, Bunny... You are fast!!! I had no idea that a Sweet Greyhound like you would love the snow so much!!! I loved seein you and the Morgan runnin round and round and round! How fun!!!
ReplyDeletewif love from the Luke
I have a jingle bell for Haylie but I hardly get to use it. The girls looks like they had a blast. I doubt we will get any snow here in Texas this year :(
ReplyDeleteYay! Great video! You run so fast!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Yay for the first snow! It's always a special day. It looks like you got just the right amount of it too. I love that Morgan has jingle bells. Now I'm wanting some for my dog. :-)
ReplyDeleteBella and Daisy would flip out in the snow! They were shivering today and it was 68 degrees in my house. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe loved your snow photos and video! You are really enjoying that snow - we want ours to go away now!
ReplyDeletetake care
Clive and Murray
How FUN! The jingle bells added just the right touch to that movie. Does Morgan ever get discouraged that she can't run as fast as you? And did she manage to not run into any trees this time?
ReplyDeleteWigles & Wags,

Look at all the fun in the snow!!

Hi Bunny! The snow looks very envigorating(is that how you spell that?!!
ReplyDeleteI think you guys had more snow than we did, though now what was left on sidewalks has turned into ice! I love the sound of Morgan's bells and the squirrels giving you the business! That looks like a great workout!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sending it our way, we're getting buried. :p
ReplyDeleteDon't you love watching the dogs get our for each year's first snow? :)
Looks fun! We had snow up here, too. But on Sunday the temps dropped and now it is freakishly cold. Ugh ..
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
P.S.: keep practicing and training and some day you will be as fast as me, Bunny! Bawhahahahahaha!!
We love your pictures Bunny. That white stuff sure is fun
ReplyDeleteSnuggles,
Benny & Lily
Oh, what fun!!!! We loved the jingle bells too. We so wish we could have some snow too:( One of these days.
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
The snow has been fun, but I'm not a big fun of walking on all the ice that has resulted from it. You do look quite dashing in your pink coat.
ReplyDeleteYour pho-toes are cute!!! looks like you all are having sooo much fun!!
ReplyDeleteHugs!!
Josie
Bunny makes Morgan look like a real slow coach. With that bell Morgan sounds like a giant cat.

The photo of Bunny in her pink coat is wonderful. Snow flakes flying around here seem to suit her well.

ReplyDeleteI hope we get a little snow this year... maybe not as much as last year, but definitely more than we had gotten in the last few years. Jingle bells are a great way for Bunny to know that Morgan is hot on her heels.
ReplyDeleteWow that looked like loads of fun! Great photos and video!
