Last weekend, we were at Petsmart when I saw an item that I thought would make a great Christmas present. I might add that it has been so cold that you have to keep moving while your taking care of certain private business or you'll find yourself frozen to the ground by a yellow icicle. Seriously, it's just too darned cold! Mom says that this is just the beginning since Winter hasn't officially even started yet and we have several more months of this weather. Anyroo, this brings my back to the first item on my list.
Was the man who invented this a genius or what? Lilac says she wants one, too, and that she's not wasting her time on Santa. She's just going to bark at Mom and Dad until they get her one. I'm not sure I am willing to interrupt my nap schedule to bark at them nonstop, so I'll leave that to Lilac.
It seems to me that this is only fair. It's not like Mom or Dad is out there facing the indignity of frostbite on their well-muscled little butts. Oh no! They send us sweet, innocent little hounds out there to face the elements. After that fake Santa incident, I think I've been a good enough girl that I should get this one thing that I'm asking for.
So, what's on your Christmas list?

Luckily we haven't got it that cold. Think Song wuld like anything that either squeaked or kept her warm. Now if I could get a squeaking blanket......:)
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom and dad know that it will be a good investment!
ReplyDeleteWoof woof meow!
ReplyDeleteComing to you via Saturday Pet Blog Hop. Please visit me back I would love to see you soon.
Happy Christmas and a fun filled new year.

haha well cats have an inside toilet, so why not dogs? it better be big though cos our dogs can do a lot of pee. You wouldn't want overflow.
ReplyDeleteI finks its a good idea. Mummy puts up an indoor tree. I fought it woz so I didnt hav to go outside to do wees on the tree in the garden but Mummy sed indoor trees arent for doing wee's on. Praps I shood puts one of these on me list too!
ReplyDeleteOur hardwood floors get ice cold in the winter, so Guinness made me get him a heated pad that goes under the padding in his dog bed..low energy cost and it only gets warm, never hot..helps his arthritis too :)
ReplyDeleteIf you try the potty patch, Bunny, I hope you'll post all about it. We've been looking at them for Honey when we (hopefully) live on a boat.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, try running before you start to pee. It will get you warmed up so the cold doesn't feel so bad!
We are Sibes - we want Snow!. But our humans have other plans for us the week of Christmas. Wait and see!
ReplyDeleteI hope all of your holiday wishes come true, Bunny, Blueberry, Lilac, and Morgan too! Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteWell, Sam was wishing for his own dog biscuit factory... but I guess an indoor pee pad would be nice too!
ReplyDeleteSam
I hope your mom and dad listen to her.
ReplyDeleteHave you received that... special brown envelope yet???
We're going for the Potty Patch as well. We (K and R) think that we might get it because our humans have to stand out in the cold with us. No fenced in yards around here - too many mountain lions around.
ReplyDeleteI thought of our little secret during an endless party last night! It was nice to briefly transport myself to a wonderful place!
Ohhh bunny you look great in antlers!!
ReplyDeleteWay to work it Bunny! ;-)
ReplyDeleteCould you ask you mom where she got your antlers? We would love some.
Zephyr and Astro
That sounds like a pretty good idea--especially when it's that cold outside!! It just rains here and we don't like that too much!
ReplyDeleteYou better get an x-large one, because you are tall dogs with big bladders! haha
ReplyDeleteWyatt
Sounds like a perfect plan letting Lilac annoy Mom and Dad into getting the present...;-) Nice antlers, by the way....We tried to put them on Moxie but she was having none of it....you can see the pics on our blog ;-)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

Heeeheeeeehehhheeeee! Bunny, I am getting a 'vision' of all you girls lined up to use one Potty Patch! Heeeheeee
ReplyDeleteand I just love, love, love your antlers, girl!!! Tres chic!
I think this potty patch would be most useful now its getting cold and colder on your side of the world Bunny. Maybe you girls should all get together and bark the house down... then you might get 4 potty patch for christmas.. one for each of you so you don't have to line up :p
ReplyDeletelove the antlers :)
Hey Bunny!
ReplyDeleteGreat giftie for those doggies who are, let's say, vertically challenged! Little doggies get lots of their "sensitive" parts in the snow. Me, I just plow right through. Great idea for a Santa gift! Great pix of you with your antlers. Say hi to Blueberry and Morgan too!

You totally deserve it!
ReplyDeleteI'll be happy with anything this year!
Hugs,
I'm totally with you on that one! Mom got me a doggy litter box, but really...I'm not a cat! I refuse to go near that thing. I have my dignity. Let us know how that pad works out if you get it - then I'll show your post to Mom to get me one too.
ReplyDeleteWe really do like the cold but we can understand that some pups might really love that item. Hope it makes its way to your place.
ReplyDeleteWe have posted one thing on our list today, but the Momster says it is all in our heads.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Our momma can tell how cold it is by how much steam rises when we do our business. Does the Potty Patch have a steam attachment?
ReplyDeleteThis potty patch has my name on it! I HATE the cold and sometimes refuse to go out unless someone carries me in and out. I need to go revise my santa list.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Its cold here to. Have to been to that water fall? I bet it looks beauiful at this time. I haven't got a list!!! I'm hoping he will know what I would like ;)
ReplyDeleteSee Yea George xxx

I thought those potty patches were for little doggies. I'm thinking us big doggies will kind of over fill it. Although I have to say I have some doggies boots on my list since we have had some unusual snow and ice and my paws aren't real happy with that.
ReplyDeleteI say you deserve it! My little cousin in Arizona has one of those and it doesn't even SNOW there!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
Wags,
Zona
The only problem wif dis is that I have what can be called the walkin' poops. I start in one spot and end 5 feets later. So I needs more of a poop runway than a mat.
ReplyDeletewoof - Tucker
Ewwww, you must really hate the cold Bunny!
ReplyDeleteBunny, I vote YES!
ReplyDeleteWhat will they think of next ?
ReplyDeleteI need to get one of those potty patches... Oh, uhm, not for myself of course!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Bunny - somehow I don't see that in your future, but you never know.
ReplyDeleteI got the same cover you did! After I ordered it, I looked to see yours and yep, the hounds in wine color :)
This is an interesting concept for sure, a litter box for dogs. I wonder if mine would actually take to it, though. Wall-E is blessed with a large bladder. Emmy tends to dribble as little old ladies will. Oscar is, well, Oscar. He is of the mindset that us humans were put here to take care of him and any messes he wants to bestow upon us. I wonder if this new device would be better suited for a puppy to learn. Not to be a nay-sayer, but ........
ReplyDeleteThose look pretty handy! Our dogs have no choice but to get to business and in a hurry. If one of them starts to eye the litter box we may have a revolt on our hands!!
ReplyDeleteWe think you might need a few of 'em! But seriously, we understand your plight completely and think your request/demand is not outrageously silly (hehee hee hee!)
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs xoxoxo
Sammie and Avalon
We don't have this problem where we are, but we think this is a must have for you !
ReplyDeleteWe send you our best wishes for the holiday season with all our love.
Bella and Ollie.
I think you're quite right. We deserve indoor facilities as much as anyone. I don't mind the cold much, but when it's raining I'll hold it until I just about burst. Why should we have to go through that sort of thing? I'm putting it on my list, too.
ReplyDeletelotsa licks, Lola
Pee S. Love your antlers!
Something tells me that you'd probably need a potty patch the size of a dining room in order for a greyhound to hit it! :-)
ReplyDeleteDearest Bunny,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on the potty patch. Some of my older ladies may really appreciate this.
