Letters to Santa -- Lilac

I'm guessing that most of you know by now that I found some letters the girls wrote to Santa.  I decided to post them this week since we've been extremely busy with five family Christmas parties, shopping, several birthdays and work.  I wonder if Santa is amused.
Dear Santa,

I'm not going to lie to you. I've been bad this year.  When you get as old as I am, you learn to take liberties.  I poop on the floor if I feel like it, bark to wake the humans up in the middle of the night if I feel restless so they can join me, steal food if I can and teach Morgan as many of my habits as I can.  Let's face it, somebody has to keep the tradition alive when I'm gone, and it won't be those goody two shoes Bunny and Blueberry!

A note to Santa from Bunny -- Please remember that Lilac is very old!  She's a little senile, I'm afraid.  Please don't let her attitude reflect on the rest of us here, I beg you!  Blueberry, Morgan and I are good girls!

Anyhow, Santa, I think I ought to get credit just for being alive at this point, and for letting Mom and Dad get a few hours sleep every night.  I'd really like a new coat that covers my behind and for you to explain to Mom and Dad that I need a Potty Patch.  It's too darned cold for me to be going outside to take care of business!  I'd also like an assortment of treats, an elevator for the back steps and a new Mother Bunny bunny or tribble, and a dias with some handsome young men to carry me around.  Please deliver these when you bring the other presents on Christmas Eve!

Sincerely,
Lilac

Dear Santa,

Please don't let the rest of us die of embarrassment!  I don't know where she gets her crazy ideas.  I swear that we're good girls!

  14. Hey Lilac!
Good for you! Make Santa have a sense of humor. I can relate to the bad side of being a dog...I look at it as a challenge for my peeps. I'm sure Santa will bring you tons of great pressies...honesty counts for a lot!
Happy holidays to you, Bunny, Blueberry, Morgan and your whole pack.

  15. Lilac,

You are a very *good* girl. Those are things that you cannot control... and you give your family so much love (you didn't mention that). I think that Santa will bring you everything on your list.

BTW, (to your mom) those pajama thoughts are starting to overwhelm me!

  16. Lilac I just KNOW that Santa Paws will be bringing you some super wonderful pressies. He is quite wise and most understanding.
Remember... he rides around BEHIND a bunch of reindeer. From that perspective... he KNOWS that Poop Happens.

  25. Hey Lilac, my sister TaiChi was ANCIENT (she was over 20 when she crossed the Bridge last spring) and Santa TOTALLY gave her permission to poop on the floor and wake up Mom (Dad can sleep through the end of the world) at all hours of the night. So I wouldn't worry about that. I since TaiChi had her own personal bearer (Mom), I think that your requests are perfectly in order. We hope Santa comes through for you - you deserve everything you've asked for, and more!

  34. Lilac, I hopes you get every single solitary thing on your list! I bet you will. I have it on good authority that Santa luvs old ladies. I mean, have you seen his wife?

    Wiggles & Wags,
    Mayzie

PeeS. Bunny, I still want a chin-chillyah and a Jenny Pig but a goat is WAY bigger than either of those and I wasn't sure if Santa would have room enough for all of 'em in his sleigh.
