I imagine most of our readers already read about Morgan's Academy Award-worthy performance this week. You would think that she'd be a shoo in at the nomination ceremony, but I don't think she'll be alone. We seem to have a house full of starlets here.
Of course there's Bunny. She's managed to fake injury, emit the Greyhound Scream of Death during obedience class when her leash was stepped on while she was laying down, convince residents of the nursing home that she's terribly neglected and malnourished, and act as if she's dead in bed to avoid having to move over among other things.
We also have Blueberry as a contender. Blue saves her acting for while we're out on walks. Depending on the situation and who her audience is, Blueberry can either act as if she's extremely tired and needs to be carried home, is terribly abused and needs a new home, or is really excited to go for a walk and promises that neither of the first two options will happen, even though they always do, every time we go for a walk.
So, I leave it to you. Which dog wins the award? I wonder who's going to get the little gold statue. Sometimes I wonder if I should win the award for putting up with all of them!
It is SOOOOOO a toss up!
ReplyDeleteIs there a tie breaker khwestion about what they would do if they ruled the world?
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
Sounds like you have a house of performing arts doggies worthy of their own prime time shows on Animal Planet channel... hmmm, the jury is still out there, hard to call a winner here.
ReplyDeleteLicks, hero
All your greyhounds are great actresses!!
ReplyDeleteI believe they should all have an award! :D
LOL!!! My vote goes to Blue. I like that "she promises it wont happen...even tho it always does."
ReplyDelete;-p
Ah, the scream of death. Where would be without it ?
ReplyDeleteHmmm - we understand the difficulty because we such a range of fine actors (except Rusty who forgets which paw to limp with when he is "injured", but then he is a natural clown so no acting is really needed).
ReplyDeleteI thinks dey is all wunderful and I would gives dem each an award!
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae
I think they should all win an award for supporting roles .... and Bunny smiles just like Beryl does, just showing the tip of her canine. I love it:-)
ReplyDeleteI`m with Kyhra, we may need a tie-breaker question. All the nominees are very talented actresses in thier own rights!
ReplyDeleteI taught Lilac everything she knows. This is one my favorite tricks, especially if stairs are involved - I am too old and weak to possibly climb these stairs - what you have some treats, I will be right there!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Difficult choice, Mrs. Taleteller. I think I'd vote for the one that actually makes you believe there's a real problem, plus I have a giant soft spot for Bunny. ;) (Drive has been known to step on his OWN leash and scream as if he'd been tased.)
ReplyDeleteCan I place my vote for poor MR. Taleteller?? Poor man, has been through so much lately on the walkings.
ReplyDeleteBOL! MinnaK
Oh man, that's tough. I would have to vote for Lilac!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, too cute to decide - can we declare a draw!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

And don't forget that Lilac can lay there one minute, innocently batting her eyelashes, and then handcuff you to a fan at the drop of a dime.
ReplyDeleteVery very tough choice with a house full of stars actresses. If forced to vote, I'd vote for Bunny because she does her acting out in public, finding ways to manipulate all who she meets!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful group of dogs you have!
On a different note, thanks for offering to dig out the decorated muzzle. Upon pondering it, I think that because the muzzle season is pretty short, we'll probably not truly buy decorated muzzles. But, it's such a fun idea... if the season were any longer, I'd definitely go for it!!
The guy who saw K yesterday wasn't at all afraid. He mentioned that the fact that she was wagging her *entire body* at him was a big clue that she wasn't aggressive!
Wall-E is quite partial to Bunny, but he does like them all. He is, after all, a ladies man!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, this is a tough one. Maybe you need to subdivide the category and have four awards:) How is that for being diplomatic?
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
This is all so funny and cute. They all deserve an award! I love how dramatic our dogs can be. :)
ReplyDeleteWith a house full of such great actors you could begin your own performances just like the Jackson dad. I have to applaud Bunny, the malnourished acting is one that is hard to perfect.
ReplyDeleteYou sure are PRETTY!
ReplyDelete-Corbin
