A lot of you mentioned being curious about my new boots. I have two different kinds of boots. One pair is for just going out if the weather is cold to protect my feet from getting ice in them on short jaunts and when the weather is really bad. Blueberry and Lilac have some, too. We wrote about those and showed a few videos of them last year. This year, though, I have a grand plan.
Most of you who read our blog know that Morgan and I have been enjoying hiking a lot. Most Saturdays find us out on a trail somewhere with our backpacks having fun. One place we really like is Starved Rock and we've been there a couple of times this summer. We really want to go back this winter to the Saint Louis Canyon to see the frozen waterfall. If I'm going to make it there, I'm probably going to need tall boots, and I doubt Morgan or I will be wearing our backpacks.
So, that's the reason I needed the new boots. Hopefully we'll go to several places where I can use them, but my big goal is to get to that canyon. I just happen to be a little Greyhound with big dreams, and now I have the tall boots to go with them!
those boots look great bunny!
ReplyDeleteYou sure am one of the most fashionable greyhound around :) You look so pretty in tour suit and boots :) A Bunny should have big dreams!
ReplyDeleteI can see that you're well geared up for the grand plan. Those boots are cool and you look so warm and so ready for the hikes!!!
ReplyDeleteHave you used these soft boots for hiking, yet? They look very fleecy and comfy.
ReplyDeleteI had bought two sets of insulated boots for snowy times, but the seams were very sharp where the velcro was sewn in, leaving bloody scratches by the time I noticed. :(
Have fun getting to that canyon!
Wow didn't know you could get boots like that, you look so warm, it must be very cold if its a frozen waterfall, looking forward to the photos of that, It looks like the waterfall is where I will be going, do you think I need some boots to!! the weather over here has been very wet and floods in some parts, might have to get a dry suit I don't do water!!!
ReplyDeleteSee Yea George xxx
You're the most fashionable greyhound I know, Bunny... you just look so good there with your suit and boots... hope your grand plan work out.

Bunny! You look fabulous, but can you walk in those things! As I think I mentioned, my mom bought be a pair of red boots last year. They were impossible to walk in and I just hated them!

ReplyDeleteIf any little greyhound can fulfill her big dreams it's you, Bunny.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is totally stylin' Bunny! You look like a super-model. And you're ready for anything - even frozen waterfalls (but please be careful - we love you).
ReplyDeleteThose tall boots look like the absolute perfect thing to stop K from going after her infected paw. It sounds like it's going to be a very long haul to get rid of the infection so they'd be great investment for us. And, K would love it. You should see her ridiculous set-up right now to keep her from licking her paw (an E-collar didn't work).
Can you tell me where you got them and exactly what their name is? Sorry to bug you - but I'd love to get a set FedExed to us!
Hmm does boots are interestin....me I don't need no boots cause my feets are TOUGHS. butt if dat works fur you...*shrugs* :)
ReplyDeleteOh mom says she thinks those boots look great on you

ReplyDeleteGirlfriend, you're rocking it! Now if you could find pink high boots I would be so impressed!! I'd start calling you Heidi Bunny Klum!
ReplyDeleteHi Bunny,
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic! But I want to see how you walk in those boots. Do you prance like one of those fancy horses? I have to wear a plastic bag/boot now when I go outside and it makes me walk really funny. Please ask your Mom to do a video when you go to the frozen waterfall. That way we can see you walk in your boots and see the waterfall too :)
Kisses,
Emma Rose
PS Have you mailed me that laptop yet?
Co'mon BOOTS, start walkin'!!! You go, girlfriend!!

I love your gear; you look so professional! Do you ever have problems with the boots falling off? We had gotten snowboots for Miss M's webbed feet, but she kept losing them.
ReplyDeleteYou are stylin', Ms. Bunny! Now, how about some leg warmers or baselayer pants to go with that outfit - especially if you're going to be where it's cold enough for frozen waterfalls.
ReplyDeleteThose boots are great, Bunny!
ReplyDeleteWe're keeping Blueberry in our thoughts and prayers.

Every true fashionista has at least one pair of tall black boots! Very empowering. Yours look much more comfortable than the shiny 4 inch heel and pointed toe kind, yet on you, just as fabulous! :)
ReplyDeleteMiss Bunny, your boots are very cool, but that pick coat you are sporting totally rocks.
ReplyDeleteGreat boots and fabulous coat, good luck for your hike !

Mom adores their jackets and boots! They are way too cute!
ReplyDeleteSam
Bunny! You look so fantastic in that outfit. Nothing like a bit of a big shoe and bulky sweater to draw attention to the sleekness of your form. You're ready for anything, but the cover of dogue is what I expect next.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
mango
Bunny, you look stunning! We love your boots and coat. :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did the boots come from? I need them.
